Lead Pastor
Pastor Pete Serves as the lead Pastor at Florida’s First Assembly Of God. He and His wife Deb are the proud parents of two beautiful kids. The Bensons have been serving in ministry since 2010. One of Pastor Pete’s greatest joys is helping others experience the same life transforming power of Jesus that he experienced as a young man. As a family they strive to reach the lost, make disciples, and further the Gospel through Missions.
Pastor Pete’s favorite pastimes are spending time with family, playing games with friends, and he absolutely loves to hunt and fish.
Associate Pastor / Kid's Pastor
Pastor John has been involved in Kids Ministry for over a decade. He believes in working in tandem with parents to help kids connect with God, their families and their world. Pastor John believes Kids Church needs to be a place where kids fall in love with God and church and want to be have both as part of their lives. He oversees the KidVenture, Community Groups and Assimilation Teams here at Florida’s First Assembly.
He is married to his amazing wife Rachel and has four awesome boys.
Worship & Media Pastor
Pastor Ben currently serves as the Worship & Media Pastor at Florida’s First Assembly Of God. He and his wife Gabi moved to Florida in October of 2023, and previously served on staff at a church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ben believes that music and worship are integral facets to the church of today, and is committed to providing an atmosphere where people can experience God’s holy presence.
Pastor Ben loves sneakers, video games, going to Disney with his wife, and playing with their 3 dachshunds.
Youth Pastor
Pastor Luke currently serves as the Youth Pastor at Florida’s First Assembly of God. He has served in youth ministry for the past 7 years and loves to see God transform the lives of students. He is passionate about inspiring the next generation to embrace their faith and purpose. His commitment to guiding youth in their spiritual journey has led him to become focused on equipping the next generation with the tools they need to serve the Lord and make a positive impact in today’s world.
Pastor Luke is an avid sports enthusiast, sneaker collector, and gamer.
Men's Ministry Pastor
Pastor Jonah currently serves as the Men’s Ministry Pastor at Florida’s First Assembly of God. He believes that Genesis 14:14 is a perfect example for us to follow as men of God.
Pastor Jonah has served as a deacon for multiple terms and is also currently serving as a youth leader.
Jonah is married to his beautiful wife Aurelia and has 2 amazing children. In his free time he enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors, and has recently picked up archery as a hobby.
