The Youth of today are facing an ever changing and shifting world. Trying to figure it out is tough and students need help to figure it all out. Our ministry exists to help students grades 6-12 connect to God, each other, ministry and the world by serving Christ with other Central Students and Leaders. It takes someone special to love youth and share God’s love with them, but if you do you will be on the cutting edge of ministry
Community Groups are a place you can be equipped to become more like Jesus and to live a faith-filled life. We believe that every person is created with God-given potential to make a difference in the world. Our Community Groups can dig deeper into God’s Word or just to build relationships. If you want to lead others into a deeper walk with the Lord or just want to build relationships then Community Groups are for you.
The Family Care Serve Team realized there are individuals within our church family who are facing difficulty and overwhelming circumstances. It is our desire to reach out to each one and demonstrate the love of God by offering care, prayer, and encouragement during their difficult times. We write personal notes, call and check on those in need and on occasion make food for those on our family care list. If you love to care for those who are sick, in the hospital, having surgery or lost a close loved one this team is for you & could use your servants heart to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Hospitality is the gift that makes everyone feel welcome. Sometimes that’s a meal, a special event or a celebration. Our Hospitality Team strives to create environments and events that make Florida’s First a place where all feel at home. If you love to make people feel welcome the Hospitality team is for you
Pre-K and Nursery kids are the best. As they are taking their first steps towards being a Big Kid Florida’s First is there, while learning the same thing as the Big Kids, but designed for active little ones. If you believe that Kids Ministry should involve playing on the floor and crafts as we teach our youngest about Jesus you need to be a part of KidVenture Pre-K
KidVenture Elementary- At Florida’s First we don’t believe that kids are the future of the Church…But are the Church. In KidVenture we do Church, just for kids. Be a part of KidVenture and you will be there as kids make their decisions for Christ that will last a lifetime.
Kids learn best when they get to put their hands in it in small groups. Our Wednesday night Kids ministries provide that. We split our students into Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries and take them deeper into Gods Word on Wednesday night. But the fun does not stop there with our many activities including camping and other fun times together. There is a spot for anyone willing to serve.
Outreach-While Missions focuses on the larger world, Outreach focuses on our Community. Here at Florida’s First we love to be a part of the Community of Hardee County. We believe that if we want the community to be a part of Florida’s First, then Florida’s First has to be a part of the community. We help meet the needs in our Community by supporting the Hardee Help Center. If you want to meet the needs of our Community consider being a part of Outreach Team.
